Dr. Margaret Fitzgerald DNP, FNP-BC, NP-C, FAANP, CSP, FAAN, DCC, FNAP is the founder, president, and principal lecturer with Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, (FHEA), an international provider of nurse practitioner certification preparation and continuing education for healthcare providers. An internationally recognized presenter, Dr. Fitzgerald has provided thousands of programs for numerous professional organizations, universities, and national and state healthcare associations on a wide variety of topics including clinical pharmacology, clinical assessment, laboratory diagnosis, healthcare, and nurse practitioner practice. For more than 25 years, she has provided graduate-level pharmacology courses for NP students at a number of universities. In addition, she practices as a family nurse practitioner at the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, Lawrence, MA. Dr. Fitzgerald also holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, where she received the Alumni Association Award for Clinical Excellence and is also an Adjunct Associate Professor. Dr. Fitzgerald is a member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee for Neighborhood Health Plan in Boston, MA.

Dr. Fitzgerald is the recipient of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties' Lifetime Achievement Award, given in recognition of vision and accomplishments in successfully developing and promoting the nurse practitioner role, the American College of Nurse Practitioner's Sharp Cutting Edge Award, the Outstanding Nurse Award for Clinical Practice by the Merrimack Valley Area Health Education Council, and one of the 50 Leaders in 50 Years by the Solomont School of Nursing, UMass Lowell. In addition, Dr. Fitzgerald received the Loretta C. Ford Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Nurse Practitioner Symposium for demonstrating longevity, integrity, professional achievement, and advocacy in advanced practice nursing. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and a charter fellow in the Fellows of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Fitzgerald is a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association and is the first nurse practitioner to earn the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation in recognition of excellence and integrity as a speaker. She is also certified by the American Board of Comprehensive Care as a Diplomate of Comprehensive Care (DCC), a designation available to DNP graduates who are licensed advanced practice registered nurses (APRN) and nationally certified in an APRN specialty. Dr. Fitzgerald is an editorial board member of The Nurse Practitioner, American Nurse Today, Prescriber's Letter, and Journal of Doctoral Nursing Practice.

She is widely published, with more than 200 articles, book chapters, monographs, and audio and video programs to her credit. Her book, Nurse Practitioner Certification Examination and Practice Preparation (now in the 5th edition), received the American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year Award for Advanced Practice Nursing and has been published in English and Korean. She has provided consultation to nursing organizations in the United States, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom. Dr. Fitzgerald is an active member of numerous national and local professional organizations.

Sally K. Miller, PhD, AGACNP, AGPCNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, FAANP, is a Fitzgerald Faculty member. She presents the Fitzgerald Nurse Practitioner Certification Exam Review & Advanced Practice Update for family, adult-gerontology primary care, adult-gerontology acute care, and psychiatric-mental health. She also teaches pathophysiology and pharmacology courses.

Dr. Miller is certified as an adult-gerontology acute care, adult-gerontology primary care, family, and psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She practices in rural health with NextGen Family Care Clinic and iCarePsychiatry in Las Vegas, NV. Dr. Miller is a fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and a clinical professor at the Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions, Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, Dr. Miller is the APRN consultant/investigator to the Nevada State Board of Nursing.

Dr. Miller has presented a wide variety of pharmacology and clinical topics at local and national conferences, including the National Conference of Nurse Practitioners, AANP, and the University of Colorado Annual Nurse Practitioner Symposium. In addition, Dr. Miller conducts workshops in collaboration with other Fitzgerald faculty on suturing for primary and urgent care. Dr. Miller is a member of numerous professional organizations, including AANP, the American Nurses Association, the Academy of Correctional Health Professionals, and the Nevada Nurses Association. She has been published in several nurse practitioner journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Biological Research for Nursing, Journal of Geriatric Physical Therapy, Journal of Primary Health Care, Journal of Correctional Health Care, and Advance for Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Miller has also served as a content reviewer for many of these publications.

Ms. Wright is certified as both a family and adult nurse practitioner and is the owner of two nurse practitioner operated clinics within New Hampshire called Wright and Associates Family Healthcare at Amherst and at Concord. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, and is the recipient of both the Excellence in Research and Excellence in Clinical Practice awards, from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. She was chosen by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners to receive the New Hampshire Excellence in Practice award and by her peers as the New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner of the Year. She is the nurse practitioner representative to the State of NH Immunization Advisory Board. Ms. Wright is the founder of the NH Chamber of Entrepreneurial Nurse Practitioners, an organization designed to assist nurse practitioners with independent practice issues. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association and Sigma Theta Tau.

Ms. Wright is adjunct graduate faculty at the Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing at the University of Wyoming and Simmons College Graduate Nursing Program where she teaches in the doctor of nursing practice program. She has served as a defense expert witness for medical malpractice cases involving nurse practitioners.

Wendy Wright's publications include articles and monographs on the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and migraine. She is also an editor for Practice Management, a new e-journal created for NPs interested in independent practice and practice management. As a certified adult, family and acute care nurse practitioner, Ms. McDevitt practices at Grace Cottage Family Practice at Grace Cottage Hospital, Townshend, VT. She is a member of the hospital's Ethics Committee and the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as well as a member of The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International. She is the assistant clinical instructor at the University of Vermont Medical School and Graduate School of Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner Program.

She was featured in the article "Using Physical Assessment when Assessing Nutritional Status" in the peer-reviewed journal, ICAN: Infant, Child, and Adolescent Nutrition. She is the co-author of "Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis: A Primary Care Consensus Guideline," featured in The American Journal of Managed Care. She has presented posters on primary care and family NP educational innovations at local regional and national conferences.

Ms. Feeney presents workshops on the topics of Common Dermatologic Procedures and Common Office Procedures. Susan presents workshops in collaboration with other Fitzgerald associates on the topics of Suturing Basics for Primary and Urgent Care Providers and Suturing: Beyond the Basics. She also lectures nationally on a wide variety of clinical practice topics including migraine headache, sleep disorders, antimicrobial management of respiratory infections, sports physical and injury assessment, common gastrointestinal complaints, mental health issues in primary care, and pharmacology.

Christy Yates, MS, FNP-BC, NP-C, AE-C, i is member of the Fitzgerald faculty. Fitzgerald Health Education Associates is an international provider of nurse practitioner certification preparation and continuing education for healthcare providers. She presents programs on asthma, allergy and immunology.

Ms. Yates is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She also is certified as an asthma educator by the National Asthma Educator Certification Board. She practices as a family nurse practitioner full-time at Family Allergy and Asthma in Louisville, KY and for years has continued her interest in primary care by practicing internal medicine and family medicine in addition to her specialty in allergy, asthma and immunology.

She has been published in The Nurse Practitioner Journal, The Journal of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is on the Editorial Advisory Board of The Nurse Practitioner Journal. Ms Yates received the prestigious 2013 State Award for Excellence for Kentucky by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has presented numerous lectures on a wide variety of clinical topics at local, regional and national NP conferences, including the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives as well as the National Conference for Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Practice Clinicians. Ms. Yates is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She is also a member of the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners for which she has served in leadership roles over the years including chair and co-chairperson of the Annual Regional Kentucky NP Conference. She has mentored nurse practitioner students for years, and received the outstanding preceptor award from Spalding University, Louisville, KY, in recognition of her service.

Czerkasji holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University (Nashville, Tennessee) and a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from Southern Adventist University (Collegedale, Tennessee). He is the recipient of the Excellence in Writing award from Vanderbilt University for his research paper The Effects of Moderate to Severe Psoriasis on Human Sexuality. Czerkasij is a certified family nurse practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC). He is also a registered histotechnologist. He currently practices as a nurse practitioner at Skin Cancer and Cosmetic Dermatology, PC, Cleveland, Tennessee, and Adult and Pediatric Dermatology, Dalton, Georgia, where he applies his skills diagnosing and prescribing for many patients on a full-time basis. He also serves as a nurse practitioner during Moh's micrographic skin cancer surgeries.

Czerkasij is a member of numerous organizations including the National Society of Histotechnology, the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner's Association, the Southeast Association of Histotechnologists and Medical Lab Personnel, the Medical Reserve Corps of Southeast Tennessee, the Tennessee Nursing Association, the Georgia Nursing Association, and Sigma Theta Tau (the International Honor Society of Nursing). He has been published in and served as an editorial board member for the Nurse Practitioner Journal and the Journal of Nurse Practitioners. He has additional publications in Men in Nursing, Clinician Reviews and various newspapers throughout Tennessee and Georgia.

Mr. Askey is a certified Adult NP who currently practices in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Guthrie Clinic in Sayre, PA. He applies his skills to the evaluation, diagnosis and management of various gastroenterologic diseases including cirrhosis, abnormal liver enzymes, infectious hepatitis, and other liver diseases, as well as Inflammatory Bowel Disease, GERD, Dysphagia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and Pancreatic Diseases. Mr. Askey is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and has presented a variety of gastroenterologic and hepatic topics at national, state and local conferences including the National Conference for Nurse Practitioners. In the recent past, Mr. Askey served on the Critical Care and Trauma Course Faculty of Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre PA, the Joint Education and Training Faculty, Elmira, NY and as Guest Faculty at Elmira College, Elmira, NY. In addition to serving as a Principle Investigator and a Sub Investigator for many research projects, on various clinical gastroenterologic and hepatic topics, Mr. Askey has published many articles in The Clinical Advisor, a journal for nurse practitioners and physician assistants for which he is a contributing editor. He also edited a chapter titled "Gastrointestinal Disorders" in the 9th edition of Lippincotts Manual of Nursing Practice. Dr. Campo is an Associate Clinical Professor, Co-Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner track, Director of the Emergency Nurse Practitioner Post-Masters Certificate program, and Chair of the Department of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She is also Adjunct Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Campo is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Emergency Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Campo works for Cape Emergency Physicians at Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May Court House, NJ.

Dr. Campo received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Widener University in Chester, PA. She has over 30 years of experience in emergency medicine, including pre-hospital, emergency department/quick care, and trauma. Dr. Campo is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Emergency Nurse Practitioner (AANP).

Dr. Campo has served as Vice-Chair of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) content expert panel for Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification and was the first ENP-BC in New Jersey She was a founding board member of the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Campo was awarded the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) State Award for Excellence in 2011 and was inducted into the Fellows of the AANP in 2015. She has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing since 2017.

Dr. Campo is a national and international lecturer on emergency and urgent care topics. Theresa is the author of Medical Imaging for the Health Care Provider: Practical Radiograph Interpretation. She co-editor of Essential Procedures for Practitioners in Emergency, Urgent, and Primary Care Settings: A Clinical Companion (2nd ed.) with the 3rd edition due for release in early 2020. Dr. Campo serves on the editorial board of Advanced Emergency Nursing Journal. She has also authored several book chapters and peer-reviewed articles.

She presents the FHEA Nurse Practitioner Certification Exam Review and Advanced Practice Update for psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioners. She is a certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Dr. Judge-Ellis practices as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner at Meadowlark Psychiatric Services, PC, North Liberty, Iowa and as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner at Winfield Community Clinic in Winfield, Iowa. She is an associate clinical professor for the University of Iowa's College of Nursing and teaches adult health and psychiatric-mental health disorders in the Doctor of Nursing Practice NP program. Dr. Judge-Ellis has been published in several journals including Advance for Nurse Practitioners and The Nurse Practitioner Journal. She has co-written several chapters in Current Issues in Nursing, 7th Edition. She has presented various topics at state and national conferences including the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties Annual Meeting and the Iowa Nurse Practitioner Society Annual Meeting

She is the recipient of the University of Iowa College of Nursing Distinguished Faculty Advising award. She has been a member of numerous committees at the University's College of Nursing, including the Faculty Practice Advisory Committee, and the College of Nursing Diversity Committee. She was a representative for the college of nursing for the university's Health Sciences Human Rights Program Committee. Dr. Judge-Ellis is the co-founder, charter member, and past-president of the Iowa Nurse Practitioner Society (INPS) and has been involved in various committees with the society. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties and has served as a Board Member-at Large. Dr. Judge-Ellis was inducted as a Fellow of the AANP.

Dr.. Farnum is certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner and practices at Merrimac Valley Pediatric Associates, Billerica, MA. She is a pediatric nurse consultant at CRICO Risk Management Foundation, Cambridge, MA and is both an assistant clinical professor at Northeastern University School of Nursing and an adjunct faculty member at Northeastern University Graduate School of Nursing, Boston, MA, working as a preceptor, lecturer and consultant.

Dr. Angelow is currently an acute care nurse practitioner for the Division of Trauma Surgery and Surgical Critical Care at Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ. He is Chair of Advanced Practice Nursing, Division of Graduate Nursing and Assistant Clinical Professor at Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA

Dr. Angelow received his PhD in Nursing Education at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO. He is certified as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and an adult acute care nurse practitioner by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN).

Dr. Angelow presents both locally and nationally on pharmacology, cardiovascular disease, rhythm interpretation, and a variety of emergency and acute care NP-focused topics. His publications include "Cardiovascular Emergencies" in Pocket Pearls: Quick Facts for Emergency Nurses; and "Self Schedule" in the Managers Forum in the Journal of Emergency Nurses. He is also a content reviewer for the Journal of Emergency Nursing.

Vanessa Pomarico, EdD, FNP-BC, FAANP is a Fitzgerald Faculty member. Dr. Pomarico is certified as a family nurse practitioner and earned a doctorate in Nursing Education from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, CT She practices at Northeast Medical Group (NEMG), specializing in Internal Medicine with a special interest in women's health and transgender healthcare. An author, lecturer, educator, and volunteer, Dr. Pomarico is the transgender healthcare trainer for NEMG system-wide. Dr. Pomarico is the former Director and Lead faculty of the FNP track in the Department of Nursing at Southern Connecticut State University. She is courtesy faculty and a guest lecturer for numerous nurse practitioner, physician assistant, and medical schools in Connecticut. Dr. Pomarico is the recipient of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Nurse Practitioner Excellence award and was inducted as a Fellow in AANP. She is a recipient of the Nightingale Excellence in nursing award. Dr. Pomarico is the co-author of two nursing pathophysiology textbooks and a contributing author in "Focus on Adult Health Nursing". She served on the advisory board for The Jim Collins Foundation, a non-profit organization community-based initiative promoting the self-determination and empowerment of all transgender people. Dr. Pomarico has served as the Co-Chair of Health Policy and is a Past President of the Connecticut Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Society (CTAPRNS). Dr. Pomarico presents locally and nationally. Jason Gleason, MS, FNP-C, USAF Lt Col (RET), is member of the Fitzgerald faculty. Fitzgerald Health Education Associates is an international provider of nurse practitioner certification preparation and continuing education for healthcare providers. He presents the Fitzgerald Nurse Practitioner Certification Exam Review & Advanced Practice Update for family and adult-gerontology primary care.

Mr. Gleason is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). He practices at the Montana VA Health Clinic and at the Emergency Department, Benefis Health System in Great Falls, Montana. Jason is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support/Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association (AHA).

He attended the United States Air Force (USAF) Officer School and is a commissioned USAF Officer. He retured as a Lieutenant Colonel. He received his Master's of Science in Nursing at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. He received the Stroke Hero of the Year award in 2017 from the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services and the USAF Meritorious Service Medal in 2005.

Mr. Gleason is a guest lecturer at Columbia University in New York City and at Montana State University in Great Falls. He is a stroke consultant and a professional speaker on stroke care and diabetes. Jason is a member of the AHA Stroke Council, the Montana State Stroke Working Group and Montana Stroke Initiative, and is on the Benefis Health Group ER Patient Experience Team and Lead NP-Rapid Medical Evaluation Team. He has presented on stroke in the ER, diabetes complications, improving the patient experience, weight management and obesity, and non-pharmacologic adjunct therapies for pain management at multiple venues around the country.

Dr. Anderson is member of the Fitzgerald faculty. Fitzgerald Health Education Associates is an international provider of nurse practitioner certification preparation and continuing education for healthcare providers. He is the lead insturctor in the Fitzgerald-Anderson NCLEX-RN exam prep course.

Dr. Anderson has written over 100 questions for the National Council of State Boards (NCLEX), has authored several NCLEX Review books,Presenting his live NCLEX-RN exam prep for more than two decades in eastern massachusettes universities, he created the propriatary W-ASSESSMENT system to answer high-level prioritization decision making questions. His "philosophy" has assisted thousands of Graduate Nurses to take control of the NCLEX-RN exam rather than letting it control them. He is currently a Full Professor of Nursing at Curry College, Milton, Massachusetts and the current President of the American Assembly for Men in Nursing Foundation.

Barbara Osborne DNP, CRNP, WHNP-BC, is a Fitzgerald Faculty member. Dr. Osborne presents the Fitzgerald Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Certification Exam Review & Advanced Practice Update. Dr. Osborne is an Assistant Clinical Professor, Track Director of the Women's Health/Gender Related Nurse Practitioner MSN Program at the College of Nursing and Health Professions, Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She is a board certified women's health NP. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University. She completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Drexel University with scholarly work in contraception counseling and shared decision making. She has also completed postgraduate course work in colposcopy and ultrasound. Dr. Osborne is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International. Dr. Osborne began her nursing career as a high-risk obstetrical nurse before working as a community health nurse in outpatient family planning and reproductive healthcare. While caring for women making reproductive health care decisions, she developed a strong passion for providing and advocating for patients' access to full-scope reproductive health care. As a certified registered NP, she has practiced in private and publically funded outpatient women's health/reproductive health centers. She has served in both clinical and leadership roles to increase NP-centered and -led models of care. Currently she maintains a clinical practice as part of the Drexel Faculty Nurse Practitioner Practice at Parkway Health & Wellness. Dr. Osborne is a member of the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals and Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health.

Valerie J. Fuller, PhD, DNP, AGACNP-BC, FNP-BC, CWON-AP, CFCN, RNFA, FAANP, FNAP, is a Fitzgerald faculty member. She presents the Fitzgerald Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification Exam Review & Advanced Practice Update. Dr. Fuller is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Southern Maine in Portland, where she serves as Director of the AGACNP program and Assistant Professor of Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. As a certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care and Family Nurse Practitioner, she practices at Maine Medical Center in Portland and Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. She is also an Advanced Practice Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON-AP), Certified Foot Care RN (CFCN), and Registered Nurse First Assist (RFNA). Dr. Fuller received her PhD at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ, and her DNP at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. She is on the Board of Directors of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN), President of the Maine State Board of Nursing, and Past President of the Maine Nurse Practitioner Association. Dr. Fuller is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and a Fellow of the National Academies of Practice. She is the author of numerous articles and book chapters and presents regularly at local, state, and national conferences. She is actively involved in legislative and healthcare policy in Maine and is a 2017 recipient of the Elaine Elllibee Award from the NCSBN. In addition to the organizations listed previously, Dr. Fuller is also a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties, and the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society.
