K.M. is a 41-year-old female who presents with several weeks of increasing exertional dyspnea and fatigue, now causing her to stop during her daily power walks/jogs and interfering with her work as an IT telephone support worker. She denies pulmonary symptoms. On further questioning, she reports intermittent, dull, non-radiating chest discomfort without diaphoresis, nausea/vomiting, or clear association with rest or activity.
