Complex Problems: Focus on Headache

In this module, you'll focus on headache as a complex complaint. You'll differentiate tension, migraine, and cluster headache types, then use the SNOOP framework to identify red-flag presentations pointing to dangerous secondary causes. From there, you'll work through the clinical findings and appropriate diagnostics for stroke, meningitis (including CSF analysis to distinguish bacterial vs. viral), and intracranial bleeding — differentiating subarachnoid hemorrhage, epidural hematoma, and subdural hematoma.
