Dr. Czerkasij, DNP, explores the unique dermatologic issues faced by individuals with darkly pigmented skin, including Black, Hispanic, Asian, and Native American populations. We will cover common conditions such as hyperpigmentation, keloids, melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, acne scars, pigmentary disorders, and melanoma. This session aims to address diagnostic challenges, culturally sensitive treatment approaches, and strategies to improve skin health outcomes in diverse populations, promoting equitable dermatologic care.
