Bariatric surgery, a treatment option for obesity, has been shown to improve long-term health outcomes and reduce the risk of various conditions, including diabetes and heart disease. However, these procedures carry inherent risks, including an increased risk of intestinal obstruction. This case study focuses on a patient with bariatric surgery who developed abdominal pain secondary to intussusception caused by a surgical stitch.
