Contact Hours: 6 ( 1.5 Rx)
Presenter: Sally K. Miller
This day of learning teaches nurse practitioners the uses of ECG testing to build a roadmap for cardiac care in clinical settings. Both acute and chronic conditions require nurse practitioners to think critically and provide comprehensive care under tight time constraints. This day of continuing education sessions, led by Fitzgerald faculty member Stefanie Remson, teaches nurse practitioners actionable ways to tackle infection, persistent health complications, and diseases commonly seen in vulnerable populations. By balancing quick thinking and risk reduction, providers can broaden their scope of care and create lasting impact on patient well-being.

Modern dermatological disease requires cutting-edge solutions, and faculty member Dr. Czerkasij is here to give nurse practitioners a crash course on how to address full-body skin health. This day of learning covers serious derm-related conditions that signify internal dysregulation, including psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, atopic dermatitis, and eczema. NPs will also get additional training on strategies for treating tattooed patients, and the potential complications related to subcutaneous ink.
