A 42-year-old female presents to the ED with a 30-minute history of severe, sharp right upper quadrant pain, worsened with movement and unrelieved by magnesium hydroxide (30 mL). She reports nausea with two episodes of vomiting, general malaise, and subjective fever. Denies recent illness or diarrhea.
