Myocarditis in a Young Woman

K.T. is a 32-year-old female with no significant past medical history who presents with a few days of acute, sharp “knife-like” chest pain that worsens with deep inspiration, along with decreased activity tolerance and intermittent low-grade fever. She also reports fatigue, decreased appetite with mild nausea, intermittent frontal headaches, and occasional palpitations. She denies clear triggers, prolonged pressure-like pain, radiation to the arm/neck/jaw, diaphoresis, vomiting, shortness of breath, or other pulmonary symptoms.
