• Bridging the Gap: Dermatologic Care for Multicultural and Darkly Pigmented Skin       
  This lecture explores the unique dermatologic issues faced by individuals with darkly pigmented skin, including Black, Hispanic, Asian, and Native American populations. We will cover common conditions such as hyperpigmentation, keloids, melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, acne scars, pigmentary disorders, and melanoma. The session aims to address diagnostic challenges, culturally sensitive treatment approaches, and strategies to improve skin health outcomes in diverse populations, promoting equitable dermatologic care. 
• Tiny Patients, Big Needs: Dermatology Pearls and Insights for Pediatrics      
  This lecture focuses on the unique dermatologic issues faced by the pediatric population. We will discuss common skin conditions such as eczema, diaper dermatitis, viral exanthems, atopic dermatitis, hemangiomas, warts, and acne. The session highlights diagnostic challenges, age-specific management strategies, and the importance of culturally sensitive care tailored to children’s needs. Attendees will gain insights into optimizing skin health and comfort in pediatric patients.
• Skin Deep: Revisiting the Fundamentals of Dermatology     
  This lecture is designed to give new nurse practitioners the foundational knowledge needed to confidently step into a busy dermatology practice. We'll demystify the core skills, essential conditions, and fundamental procedures that form the bedrock of daily practice. The session will cover the most common skin conditions you'll encounter, including acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, and warts. We'll also provide a roadmap for developing key procedural skills, such as skin biopsies (shave and punch), cryosurgery, and simple excisions. You'll learn how to approach a patient with a skin complaint, from conducting a thorough skin exam to creating an effective and safe treatment plan. Additionally, we'll recommend essential textbooks and online resources to build your knowledge base and ensure you have the tools to continue learning and growing in the field. This presentation will equip you with the practical skills and confidence to begin your journey in dermatology.   
• Common Conditions in Adult Dermatology    
  This lecture is a comprehensive and practical guide for new and inexperienced nurse practitioners entering the field of dermatology, with a focus on the unique needs of the adult American population. The session will cover a core curriculum of the most common dermatological conditions seen in a busy office setting, including actinic keratosis, seborrheic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, stasis dermatitis, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer (melanoma and non-melanoma). You will gain a foundational understanding of the key skill sets required for success, from performing a thorough full-body skin examination to accurately describing and documenting lesions using proper dermatological terminology.
