Learn a variety of tips and tools to boost knowledge and skills needed for primary care practice. Dermatology Bootcamp will be presented in five parts by dermatology expert Victor Czerkasij, DNP, MA, MS, FNP-BC.

Dr. Czerkasij, FNP-BC provides tools and tips to help nurse practitioners build a strong foundation in dermatology by increasing the knowledge and skills needed for primary care practice. 

1. Atopic Dermatitis: Treatment and Care  
   Learn about prevention strategies, current guidelines on maintaining skin integrity, and intervention with a variety of medications, including topical corticosteroids, nonsteroidal and biologic drugs, and new treatments.  
    
2. Acne and Rosacea: Lifestyle and Pharmacologic Intervention  
   Acne and rosacea are potentially life-altering conditions leading to increased rates of depression and decreased self-esteem. Learn to implement a distinct treatment plan for each of these chronic skin conditions, including guideline-driven advice.  
    
3. Acute and Chronic Allergic Urticaria: Diagnosis and Management   
   Urticaria (hives) is a skin response to an allergen that is expressed through burning, stinging, and itching. Learn about common causes, current management guidelines and treatment, and when emergency intervention is needed. 
    
4. Pediatric Dermatology: Help My Child   
   The skin of the infant and child is different from that of an adult. This course, presented by Victor Czerkasij, DNP, APRN-BC, FNP-C, will help you recognize and manage a range of pediatric-specific skin disorders. 
    
5. Dermatology in the Older Adult 
   Hone your ability to identify and manage skins disorders in older patients with this informative program taught by NP dermatology expert Victor Czerkasij, DNP, APRN-BC, FNP-C.
