  •  Acute and Chronic Hepatitis C       
    This 1.5 hour continuing education course provides nurse practitioners with up-to-date knowledge and practical tools for the evaluation and management of both acute and chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. The session will review current epidemiology, modes of transmission, and risk factors to strengthen screening and prevention efforts. Learners will explore the natural history of HCV, distinguishing between acute and chronic infection, and the clinical implications of each.
  • Lyme Disease      
    This 1.5-hour continuing education course equips nurse practitioners with essential knowledge for identifying, diagnosing, and managing Lyme disease in diverse clinical settings. The session will cover epidemiology, transmission, and clinical presentations across early and late stages of the disease. Participants will review evidence-based diagnostic strategies, current treatment guidelines, and approaches to managing complications and post-treatment symptoms. Emphasis will be placed on patient-centered care, prevention counseling, and timely intervention to reduce long-term morbidity.  
  • HIV and PrEP     
    This 1.5-hour continuing education course provides nurse practitioners with practical, evidence-based guidance on prescribing and managing HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). The session will review current guidelines, patient selection, baseline and follow-up testing, medication options, and strategies to support adherence. Emphasis will be placed on addressing stigma, engaging diverse patient populations, and integrating PrEP into routine primary care to reduce HIV transmission.  
  • Grand Rounds Case: HIV    
    This 1.5-hour continuing education course presents an introductory, grand rounds style, case-based exploration of HIV diagnosis and management for nurse practitioners.
