The program will delve into the following topics:

•  Acute and Chronic Hepatitis C     
  This 1.5 hour continuing education course provides nurse practitioners with up-to-date knowledge and practical tools for the evaluation and management of both acute and chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. The session will review current epidemiology, modes of transmission, and risk factors to strengthen screening and prevention efforts. Learners will explore the natural history of HCV, distinguishing between acute and chronic infection, and the clinical implications of each.
• Lyme Disease    
  This 1.5-hour continuing education course equips nurse practitioners with essential knowledge for identifying, diagnosing, and managing Lyme disease in diverse clinical settings. The session will cover epidemiology, transmission, and clinical presentations across early and late stages of the disease. Participants will review evidence-based diagnostic strategies, current treatment guidelines, and approaches to managing complications and post-treatment symptoms.
